FFmpeg is an Open Source Software used to perform the tasks of Encoding, Decoding, Transcoding, Multiplexing, De-multiplexing, Streaming, and Filtering. All these tasks are performed on Video, Audio, and images too accordingly. It is available on various platforms like Windows, MACOS, and Linux. There are basically three tools provided by FFmpeg.
FFmpeg too is a Command Line Tool. This is the codecs from one file format to another format.

FFplay Tool is the player for playing the files. It uses all the libraries available in the FFplay Tool.
3.FFprob Tool
FFprob Tool is used to analyzing the streams. It is called as FFprob Analyzer.
