According to a new survey from TiVo, more than one third of Pay TV as well as OTT Video streaming Platform consumers are quitting on their favorite shows not because of the lack of interest, but because it has become difficult for them to access content due to high cost.
The survey also discovered 11% of consumers admitting they are extremely likely to downgrade their Pay TV or OTT services, with over 8% saying they will cancel their pay TV services in next six months. Also, among 2000+ surveyed US respondents, 21% said they’re extremely likely to downgrade or even cord-shave their Pay TV subscriptions.
