Video streaming, video-on-demand, OTT and other non-linear forms of TV will be growing well, according to a report by Boston Consulting Group. Time spent online has increased by 50 percent in a year. There was more than 50% demand for on-demand entertainment programs in the US and UK. There has also been rise in mobile video consumption. It is predicted that by 2018, 80% of fixed data traffic and around 70% of mobile data traffic will be online videos. Also on-demand viewing will be greater than live linear viewing.
