According to TDG research, two thirds of adults in the US watch Subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) services, however, their usage patterns vary greatly.

pay-TV substituters that form a small number, spend 68% of their TV time watching SVOD which equates to about 25 hours a week.

Further, the research suggests that Substituters spend far more time than other segments watching TV (some 34 hours a week) apart from watching SVOD.

pay-TV supplementers spend 20% of their TV time which is about 3.5 hours a week, watching SVOD. According to researchers, pay-TV supplementers spend just over 14 hours each week watching TV which is far below substituters and the least among the four segments. Read More
