According to TDG research, two thirds of adults in the US watch Subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) services, however, their usage patterns vary greatly.
pay-TV substituters that form a small number, spend 68% of their TV time watching SVOD which equates to about 25 hours a week.
Further, the research suggests that Substituters spend far more time than other segments watching TV (some 34 hours a week) apart from watching SVOD.
