According to a report by Nielson that surveyed more than 30,000 people from 61 countries, it was found out that 65% of the people watch video-on-demand in some form. The younger the people, the more likely they were to cut the cord. 40% of ages 15-20 were interested in doing so, the 21-34 bracket stood at 38% and 35-49 were at 30%. Similar pattern was observed with paid OTT, teens and young adults are most likely to sign up, with around a third of them already having access to paid service. Lowest numbers were seen for the senior most bracket.
