Southeast Asian (Over-the-Top) OTT streaming platform SportsFix has signed a deal with Malaysian telecom major Digi Telecommunications to further extend its reach in the country. SportsFix is a subscription service that streams live sports, sports news, highlights, and on-demand content predominantly targeted at overseas foreign workers in Asia, streaming on mobile devices.

With this deal, SportsFix will give sports fans in Malaysia with Live broadcast of local and international football, cricket, and basketball leagues and will be available on www.sportsfix.tv. Digi customers can now pay for SportsFix plans through their Digi postpaid bill or pre-paid credit and do not need payment cards.

SportsFix CEO Carl Kirchhoff said, “The partnership between SportsFix and Digi is a vital step for us in reaching out to the hearts of the sports fans in Malaysia by providing them with highly engaging and popular LIVE and recorded sports content, and the millions of foreigners here in Malaysia can also feel right at home by watching their favourite sport from their home country.”
