Japan smartphone giant, KDDI Corp. has tied up with Netflix Inc. to introduce a smartphone service for delivering online video streaming service. The deal will give access to people to watch Netflix movies and other online original content.

The Tokyo-based mobile phone carrier is aiming to increase the subscribers by letting people watch one of the world’s largest online video streaming services.

A source from KDDI was quoted, “The plan will be cheaper than signing up for the services individually and will be launched as early as this summer.”
