Global SVOD service Netflix has just commissioned its first original twelve-part series based on a popular web cartoon strip from South Korea, as part of its move to go local in the region. The video streaming service has invested in a series called Love Alarm, which is based on graphic novelist Kye Young Chon’s romantic webtoon tales.
