Spotify and Tinder have extended their integration with a new feature of sharing songs to users. Now listeners of the music streaming giant can share small portions of their favorite songs directly to Tinder chat. Then the receiver can stream 30 seconds of the song-excerpt.
Back in 2016, Spotify and Tinder merged together to let users share their favorite audio on their account. Tinder-algorithm used this data so that users can frequently right swipe those with matching musical taste.
This feature is now available only on the web platform. Neither the OTT music service nor the popular dating app has given any additional information about this feature, so they are, supposedly, testing it before the mobile launch.
