The Africa Channel is launching a new SVOD service Demand Africa, targeted at the African population settled in the US and around the world. The streaming platform Demand Africa focusses on television series, specials, documentaries, movies, music, biographies, cultural, and historical content with African relevance.

The service is available on the web, iOS, and Android devices, and via Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, and Amazon Fire TV. It will be available through two subscription packages – one is a monthly package priced at $6.99, and the other is a discounted annual offer of $69.99. The service is available worldwide, with a special focus on the US, Canada, and the Caribbean region.
